1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Seron, operated by Daigo International Ltd., handles your personal information. It applies together with our Terms of Service. Contact: hello@seron-japan.com
2. What We Collect
We collect your LINE display name and profile picture, your nationality, your area, your booking and visit history, and your survey answers.
We also keep:
(1) your LINE ID;
(2) the names entered when booking, including your companions;
(3) records related to the Terms of Service, such as points, rank, cancellations, late arrivals and no-shows;
(4) URLs of social media posts you send us;
(5) which opportunities you viewed in the app; and
(6) who invited you, if you joined through a friend's invitation.
3. How We Use It
We use this information to run Seron, for example to show you experiences in your area, to manage your bookings, and to contact you on LINE.
We also use it to:
(1) prepare reports for partner businesses;
(2) apply the Terms of Service, such as handling cancellations and no-shows;
(3) improve Seron; and
(4) introduce Seron to businesses, using survey answers in a way that does not identify you (for example, in sales materials).
4. What Partner Businesses Receive
Your survey answers are shared with the partner business and are used in reports we prepare for partner businesses. The partner business can see your survey answers together with your LINE display name.
When you book, the partner business also receives what it needs to welcome your group: the names entered when booking, the number of people, and the date and time.
We never share your LINE ID, and we do not sell your personal information.
5. Services We Use
To run Seron, we use outside services that handle information on our behalf:
(1) LINE (LY Corporation), to send messages;
(2) cloud services, to run the app and store data; and
(3) an AI service, to help write reports for partner businesses. We send it survey answers, nationality and visit dates — not your name or LINE ID.
6. Age
Seron is for people aged 18 or over, as set out in the Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
7. How Long We Keep It
We keep your personal information while you are a member. If you leave Seron by blocking the Seron LINE account, we will delete it within 30 days if you ask us to.
8. Your Rights
You can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete your personal information. Please contact hello@seron-japan.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. For important changes, we will let you know on LINE and may ask you to agree again in the app.
10. Governing Law
We handle personal information in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
